MINISTERS & TEAM MEMBERS LISTED IN ORDER OF START DATE

Dr. Jennifer Anderson, D.Min. | President
Ordained Minister

Jennifer is no stranger to life’s trials–facing abuses in childhood; as well as widowed at the age of 30 and left with three young boys to raise, her harrowing story has turned out to be a testimony of what the power of God’s love can do. Jennifer holds a Doctorate of Ministry in Christian Counseling, graduating summa cum laude from Summit Bible College (SBC). She is an ordained Minister through SBC’s Ministers Fellowship, and certified as a Crisis, Trauma, and Loss Counselor through Talbot School of Theology.  Watch Dr. Anderson's powerful video testimony.
While Jennifer works on a variety of cases, her expertise lies in women’s issues and marital relations (especially blended families). Dr. Anderson facilities our Bold Love program for adult female survivors of molestation; as well as Revive, a program for women who struggle with body image and eating dysfunctions. She is a member in good standing with the American Association of Christian Counselors, and has some 20,000+ hours of practice experience in Christian counseling.

In addition, Jennifer works as an adjunct professor, teaching on matters of Theology and Christian Counseling techniques at SBC. She’s an engaging, impacting speaker—motivating her audiences to live a life that is free in Christ.

Dr. CeCe Rubalcava, Th.D.
Ordained Minister

CeCe grew up in a Christian home and has always considered herself a believer. She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at the age of 12, and was baptized at 13. God's word tells us it rains on the just and unjust (Matthew 5:45), and Dr. Rubalcava understands this very well: Being a Christian has not spared her from a life of struggles. Her parents divorced when she was 10, thrusting CeCe and her family into a world of pain. At the age of 13, an autoimmune disease attacked her body. Click here to watch Dr. Rubalcava's powerful video testimony!
Dr. Rubalcava will tell you that these struggles challenged her faith and forced her to seek The Lord like never before. Through her struggles God has shown CeCe His faithfulness and power. She feels a connection with the Apostle Paul when she reads his words, "pressed...but not crushed; struck down, but not destroyed." (II Corinthians 4:8, 9). Today the strongest part of  her testimony is hanging on, not giving up, and trusting in God no matter what! Her passion is to help others overcome their negative emotions through Christian counseling, so they can live-out God's plan and purpose for their lives. CeCe holds fast to the following passage :

"Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ."
– Philippians 1:6 (KJV)

Dr. Rubalcava earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from
California State University, Bakersfield. She received a Master in Human Resources and Employment Relations from Pennsylvania State University. CeCe then went on to achieve both a Master and Doctorate in Theology, emphasized in Christian Counseling from Summit Bible College.

Dr. Rubalcava conducts sessions in English and Spanish.

To contact CeCe email her at [email protected] or call: 661-214-3069.

Dr. Matt Edmondson,DDiv
Ordained Minister

Matt was born and raised in a Christian family here in Bakersfield, California. Christian values such as the love, mercy and the benevolence of Gods grace have been the greatest inheritance his family could have handed down to him. That said, like so many of us who grew up surrounded by cotton fields and orange groves, after high school, Matt did everything he could to explore places far away from Bakersfield. Admittedly, not always with the “friends” he knew he should have pursued.
He even moved an ocean away to Honolulu and although most Sundays he’d attend church near Diamond Head, his Bible generally remained closed the rest of the week. Odd, how when God wants to get our attention, He isn’t always gentle about the methodology He employs. After twelve years in Hawaii, two men broke into his home, hit him continuously with a hammer over his head, left him for dead and they went on to murder his great aunt.
And that is the abbreviated story of how God has worked on Matt, giving him life changing events and in turn, the opportunity to help others along their Christian journey. He has helped guide clients away from themselves and into the loving arms of Jesus Christ. He has served as an addiction counselor, helped clients through PTSD, anxiety, anger issues and the loss of family. As a result of the home invasion, Matt may only see out of one eye now, but he sees the world far more how God intended him to see it from the beginning when he had two eyes! We are on this journey together and it only makes sense that we should help each other when and where we can.

Dr. Edmondson graduated from Hawaii Pacific University with a B.A in International Relations and a M.A. in Diplomacy and Military Studies. At Summit Bible College (SBC) he earned his Doctorate degree in Divinity with an emphasis in Christian Counseling along with becoming an Ordained Minister through SBC. He is in good standing with the American Association of Christian Counselors.
“More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit.” Romans 5:3-5

Dr. Joy L. Wright
Th.D

Dr. Wright was born on an Indian Reservation near Taos, New Mexico. She was the fifth child of missionary parents to the Navajo and Tewa Indian Nations.
A dark family secret kept her in fear for many years, but our God is good, and guided Dr. Wright to healing. Without Jesus, she says she would be nothing. She claims this verse to be a testimony of her life, “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind,”
2 Timothy 1:7. After going through personal secular therapy and summitbiblecollege, Dr. Wright knew she wanted to be a Christian Counselor. She believes we are spiritual beings, and without addressing the spiritual component in counseling, our healing is not complete. She attended local schools; Bakersfield College, California State University, Bakersfield, University of LaVerne, Point Loma University for her undergraduate and graduate studies, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Her final education ended at Summit Bible College, where she earned her Doctorate of Theology, with an emphasis on Christian Counseling.
She worked in public education as a teacher, school counselor, and administrative assistant for twenty four years. She has over 30,000 hours of counseling experience. She has been a professor at Summit Bible College, and has led trainings and seminars in local churches. She is currently the worship leader and an elder at the bible-based protestant church she attends. Her goals are to finish her memoirs, and publish other books on counseling.

Dana Saba

Dana became a believer at around the age of twelve. A sweet neighbor friend
led her to the Lord. It wasn’t until she met her husband, in her early twenties, that she fully committed to seeking the Lord and growing in her faith. Dana has had a history of struggling with anxiety even as a young child. As she has grown in her relationship with the Lord she has experienced his peace to help in overcoming times of anxiety. She has relied on the Lord, His powerful Word and other’s counsel. This struggle with anxiety was at an all-time high as a result of two stressful events occurring when she was a young mother. First, her husband was named in a 10-million-dollar wrongful injury-law suit. Second, was when Dana's next-door neighbor was murdered by the neighbors son . She and her husband sought out counseling to help work through this. Dana remembers the counselor saying you will use this experience to help others.
This is when the Holy Spirit started working in her heart and gave her a deep desire to counsel others. She knows that through trials the Lord can do his best work in you if you allow
Him and these times can be used to comfort others for His glory.
2 Corinthians 1:3-4 “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our
affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction,
with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.” Dana desires to
be used to help others work through pain and suffering while drawing them closer to
the Lord. Dana has a passion for children and young adults. She has been a
Physical Education teacher for over thirty years. She has also been
involved in youth groups and in supervising young adults in an
after-school sports program. Her path to become a counselor started with
having the opportunity to go through the lay counseling training at her
church with her husband. She is currently involved in this counseling
ministry. She also earned a Masters of Theology in Christian Counseling
at Summit Bible College. She is an Ordained Minister through summit bible college.
She is in good standing with the American Association of Christian Counselors.
She also has a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education and a Masters
of Arts in Education with an emphasis in curriculum and instruction
from California University State Bakersfield, www.csub.edu.
