It's not enough to just focus on the challenges we face in life, to experience transformation, our conditioned modes of thinking and behaving that fall outside of God's will must be addressed as well.  Developing an awareness of these modes is vitally important to living the kind of life our heavenly Father desires for us.  That's why we begin with a thorough review of a counselee's life history, as well as, an assessment of current challenges and conditioned ways of thinking.  Additionally, we equip our counselees with functional coping skills so they can remain firmly rooted in our Lord Jesus Christ (see Colossians 2:6-7).
