Kingdom Community Ministries (KCM) was founded in 2007 by Dr. Michael Mannia (D.Min.), with a mission to bring people into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and to help them find forgiveness and relief from the crippling effects of sin and guilt. We believe that people are dichotomous; that means we have two opposing natures, one wants to do its own will, the other wants to do God’s will (see Romans 7:21-25). So when it comes to counseling, it makes sense to use an approach that addresses both natures. That’s why our processes and techniques are always rooted in the word of God. We accomplish our mission through a blending of techniques; wherein, dysfunctional thoughts and behaviors are brought into alignment with God’s will. When we live according to the will of our Heavenly Father, we’re more apt to experience the abundant life of: love, joy and peace (see John 10:10).
Additionally, KCM works with counselees to resolve emotional pain stemming from traumatic issues in life. We challenge and encourage our counselees to grow and overcome; but not through guilt and shame, rather, through a safe environment so that the unfruitful works of darkness can be dealt with—all in the context of Christ’s love, with the power of the Holy Spirit!
